Family Summer Day Event ☀️
We’re excited to host our End of Summer Bash — an afternoon filled with family fun, delicious food, local vendors, games, music, and activities for all ages. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer before everyone heads into their fall routines, bringing together families, friends, and our local community for a day of fun and connection.
Each ticket includes a complimentary treat, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. We’re also proud to be participating in Lil Lemon Lovers’ Lemonade Stand Day in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, with our lemonade stand helping raise additional funds for this incredible cause.

About the Charities
University Hospital Foundation
The University Hospital foundation was created in 1962 by an act in the Alberta legislature. In the decades since, we have evolved into one of the most successful hospital fundraising organizations in Canada. We raise funds to advance patient care and innovation at the University of Alberta Hospital, The Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
Funds raised by the Realty Focus Summer Bash will support the Maz Innovation Fund, ensuring the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute remains a world-class cardiac centre for years to come. Support of this fund will lead to advancement of clinical programs, quality improvement, the purchase of new equipment, and research, in order to support developements in cardiac care, such as minimally invasive approaches.
This fund has already supported initiatives like:
- Surgical procedure to remove blood clots blocking the arteries carrying blood to the lungs, improving oxygen levels (1 of only 2 programs in Canada!)
- Virtual cardiac rehabilitation for patents unable to attend in-person programs.
- After a successful pilot program, proving the safety and effectiveness of Ev-Vivo equipment to essentially keep lungs ‘alive’ outside the body.

The event/fundraising organization has chosen to automatically generate tax receipts. Tax receipts are only eligible on donations of CA$20.00 or more and will be issued directly by the event/fundraising organization.
Stollery Children’s Hospital
The Stollery Children’s Hospital is one of Canada’s leading pediatric hospitals, providing specialized care for infants, children, and youth across Alberta and beyond. Through its dedicated teams of doctors, nurses, and researchers, the Stollery delivers life-saving treatment and advanced care for some of the most complex childhood conditions.
Supported by the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, donations help fund critical equipment, research, and programs that enhance care and improve outcomes for young patients and their families.
Lemonade Stand Day
Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day began in 2014 when Brooklyn and Daniella set up a small lemonade stand during a family garage sale and raised $76 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. That simple act of gratitude inspired a community movement.
What started with a few local families has grown into an annual tradition held each August, bringing together thousands of children and supporters across Edmonton to raise funds for the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Led by Monita, her family, and a youth-driven committee, the initiative has raised over $2.5 million to support pediatric care, research, and family programs.
Today, Lemonade Stand Day continues to empower kids to make a real difference—one cup of lemonade at a time.
